A large group of concerned residents of Bahia Concepcion has banded together to tackle an environmental disaster that has been going on at the turnoff in Mulege BCS, on Hwy 1 KM 118 to Punta Arenas and Playa Naranjo.
For the last 30 years, people have been dumping at this site. It is unregulated and out of control, and we have decided that it is time to do something about it to protect our desert and bay. Unfortunately, while our efforts to clean the site by hand look good from the road, it would take many years to clean up this disaster by hand.
In order to get a handle on the situation, we will need to hire some heavy equipment. We are asking the community to come together and support us with contributions. We are raising $5000 US to pay for the equipment to clean the site. We plan to have several local fundraisers, but because of the large amount needed to be raised, we are also asking here for support.

Pero el problema seguirá mientras la gente siga dejando basura en las playas y los encargados sigan dejando la basura atrás de posada y en punta arena.
Yo puedo donar un tour para rifarlo y que el dinero sea para pagar la maquinaria.
Siguiero una junta con el Delegado para que se regule la basura ybque solo vaya al deposito que esta en Mulege.
