Thanks to everyone for visiting heymulege.com and our Facebook page this past year. I created the site to help local businesses and promote sustainable tourism in the area. It was a challenging year for everyone but especially a tough time to be running a small business here that depends on tourism. Hopefully the site encourages visitors to spend a little more time here and local residents to check out new places.
Our local charitable organizations also had a tough time with not being able to hold their major fundraising events like the Rotary Club’s famous pig races and Los Amigos de Los Nino’s El Burro Art show. Hopefully the coming year will allow everyone to have their fun events that are so much a fabric of our local community. We will post info on events here as they are announced and you can find more about the organizations and how you can get involved on our page here.
Planning a visit to Mulegé? There is no shortage of things to do here. If you have been enjoying all the local food and drink maybe your resolution for the new year will be to get out and hike. We have added more hikes and maps to the section here. Let us know in the comments if there anything we can help you find.
